The CNϽ-1020 is a webbased, 300 item checklist which fleshes out 42 different neuropathologies (ADD, depression, OCD, GAD, etc.). The checklist was specifically developed for the professional neurofeedback practice and to be administered online (list of incorporated research).
After the client has completed the checklist, the neuropathologies are then displayed on four color-coded International 10-20 System heads. The CNϽ 1020 automatically calculates the probability for the inclusion of each neuropathology automatically. The CNϽ 1020 demonstrates which International 10-20 System placements are associated with each neuropathology.
The CNϽ 1020 guides the clinical interpretation of the QEEG or mini QEEG. It facilitates selecting the most appropriate electrode placements for BrainMaster and Thought Technology z-score training. In addition to the CNϽ-1020 for diagnostic purposes, the CTϽ-1020 is available for tracking purposes. Drawing from the CNϽ-1020 300 item checklist, combined with a second tier of items from the CTϽ-1020 for the six highest-rated pathologies, a fully customized checklist is generated. This checklist is typically 50 – 60 items in length and is generally administered once a week. Scoring is automatic—with one click of the mouse the CTϽ-1020 allows the clinician to keep track of progress. Research has shown that the efficacy of any therapy increases when both client and therapist are frequently informed on a detailed level of progress being made. |
